Hello, Welcome to Grand Canyon Expert Tours. I provide fully equipped adventures in and around Grand Canyon National Park including jeep tours, day hikes, and multi-day backcountry hikes.

My background is in education. I am a former High School History Teacher from New Jersey that fell in love with the west and the Grand Canyon region in particular. In my summers off from teaching I would travel to Grand Canyon and explore as much of the area I could for several years until I decided that I needed to be there all the time. For the past 6 years I have worked as an Interpretive Park Ranger at the North Rim of Grand Canyon. This provided me the opportunity to explore more of the canyon and learn about its many facets. I also gained experience in storytelling and leading hikes.

In my experiences with visitors to Grand Canyon I realized that there is a thirst for more hands-on experiences with the landscape. I decided to start providing guided hikes separate from my day job. This is the most rewarding experience I have had in my life. Sharing my knowledge of this place with others and showing them my favorite spots is my true passion. My mission is to inspire in others to explore and protect this rare and wild landscape. Please come adventuring with me and you will have an experience of a life time!
